Well homeschooling Alec has been interesting. He is doing well and I am astonished how quickly I have been going through his books. I knew he was a bright child but lord at this rate he will be teaching me in a year. His only weakness seems to be capitalization. That drives me a little nuts but eventually I am sure he will correct his own mistakes. Mackenzie has been doing well in school and the only problem there is that Alec no longer attends and she wants to be home with him. So not going to happen, she is to stubborn and teaching her would be a nightmare.

I just recently learned my cousin and his family just relocated from Winston-Salem to the Waxhaw, Weddington area. I am ecstatic about having family in the area. They have 4 children 2 boys and 2 girls I can't wait to get together this week.

So Rodney is no longer on the H.O.A. in our community. He was received a letter in the mail saying he had been voted off due to not attending the meeting in July. Which he said that date was not good for him because he had to fly up to Massachusetts for a court hearing. But the real reason he was kicked off was due to the fence on our property is "encroaching on common area" We are trying to get the fence company to move the fence seeing how they put it up in the wrong spot even though they had the plot and new they were not on our property line. That fight is just ridiculous. Not to mention a former board member gave a verbal go ahead to the fence company just so he could get a $50.00 restaurant gift card for the referral and then didn't get it and stirred up so much shit. Can you say ASSHOLE!!!!! Well I think I have vented enough today back to work.

Well It's my Anniversary today!!! But technically we were already married by this date. We really got married in December of 1997, We had to marry a few months early because his ex cancelled their kids insurance and left the kids without any so we went to city hall and got married so the kids could be on my insurance. So we have the pleasure of celebrating twice a year. We don't do much in December usually just a "Happy Anniversary" and maybe a card or something, We sometimes forget that one. We usually do something on our June Anniversary. That's the more sentimental one.
I don't feel like going out tonight, I haven't been feeling well. So we are going to stay in and go out once I feel better. My kids were so sweet they each made us cards and that means so much!!!!! They are the best. I am planning Mackenzie's 5th Birthday Party and trying to decide which theme: Luau, Carnival, Circus, Alice in Wonderland.

OMG!!! It's been a long time.

Well let's see. Alec graduated from 3rd grade with A honors, and he received the Writing award. I am so proud of him...

Mackenzie has learned how to swim without floaties.. She can swim from one end of the pool to the other. They have grown so much. Alec is almost as tall as me. We are 5 inches apart. We have been in the pool daily to beat the heat, though the pool temp is 90 degrees. When we aren't in the pool we remain indoors.

I was hoping to go up to Mass in July for my sisters wedding but that won't be possible. But, it will be nice to have my niece here for a week when my sister is on her honeymoon.

Girls game night was a blast! I haven't laughed that hard in long time.

Well nothing new or exciting has happened.. no surprise there lol..... I haven't updated this in long time.. I must sound like a broken record... old saying that needs to be updated lets try I sound like a scratched cd... life is pretty boring same thing everyday get up get my son to school kiss my husband and my daughter off to work come home make dinner clean up bath time somewhere in between homework and bedtime story I may have a chance to get online... occasionally I get a chance to hang out with some new friends.. speaking of which if you girls read this we need a moms day real soon..... Can't wait to go back up north, not that I miss it up there but it will be nice to finally get a babysitter and go out...

I know it's been forever

I know I haven't posted in a long time... Things have been so nuts lately... Going back to work has taken so much of my time that I just try to spend my free moments with my family.... but while the kids take their baths and showers I sit here on the floor with the laptop. and type away.... So much has time has passed I'm sorry that I haven't updated this. Let's see Alec made honor roll again, Mackenzie is just as crabby as ever... I swear if I didn't know better I would think she was a 16 year old stuck in a 4 year old body. LOL!!!!!! Its going to be interesting when she starts Kindergarten. She's going to want to teach the class...

We finally took our Christmas pictures so those will go out in about a week I hope... and I finally started my Christmas shopping... Thank Goodness for the Internet!!!!!
